The “Lift Me UP” stamp set and coordinating UP & Away Thinlits by Stampin’ UP! brought back fond memories of our First Hot Air Balloon ride in Arizona during a 3-week vacation in 2005. Ron and I both scratched that off our Bucket List, but to be honest, I would love to go again sometime.
Watercoloring with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens is another easy way to create a beautiful card. Stampin’ UP! reintroduced a Set of Watercolor Pencils in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. Using the blender pens to create the watercolor effect without the water.
You can also use the Blender pens with the Ink Refills to get a similar look, but I found for this card, the pencils worked better giving it a more evenly distribution of colors.
This card was created as a Masculine Get Well Card.
Watercoloring using the Aqua Painter was used today to create this Get Well Card for a class on Tuesday. “Beautiful You” is the featured the Stampin’ UP! Stamp Set. The stamp set is a set of two cases of stamps featuring three women in different poses, 8 sentiments, and two scribbles that you can use to fill in the dresses.
What I like about this set is that the images are created for the “pen & ink” style of artwork. Stampin’ UP! out did themselves this year. This stamp set is one of the many in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.
