Christmas Cards in September

To start the season off a little early, these are the cards that my class did today.  I just love each and every one of them   They are all so different.  These cards are just beautiful and I have to thank Janet Morrow Wakeland for offering the members of Patty Bennett’s Luv2Stamp Group to take part in her “Christmas in August Make n’ Take Fest” for a nominal fee.   Her class gave me the inspiration to create the card with the Tree Embossing Folder and the Christmas Tree card.   The other two cards, I cased from Janet’s class.

What I found to be fun on the Christmas Tree card, is that I used daubers and Stampin’ UP!’s Soft Sky Ink Pad to color the ribbon from white to light blue.  The strip of background paper with the circles is Retired.   I just needed something to pull in the blue.

To get the snow effect on the third card, use a dauber with Stampin’ UP! Whisper White Craft Pad.  Apply it in a circular motion and it is up to you how heavy to apply the Whisper White Craft Ink.

On the fourth card, you use another dauber to shade the trees in.   It is OK if you get off the tree.

Sorry my lighting is a little shaded.

  1. Becky, your 4 cards are beautiful. It shows that you put a lot of effort onto them. I can not pick a favorite at this time.
Great use of the daubers and a nice tip to color the ribbon.
It looks like lots of bling.
I hope you had a good turn out for your class
